In a bid to find potential security threats in its software, OnePlus is offering two big bounty programs. If you can detect flaws or bugs in their programs and report it to OnePlus, you can be rewarded with amounts ranging from $50 to $7000. The amount actually paid will depend on the potential impact of the threat.
The first OnePlus bug bounty program is the Security Response Center. It deals with cyber security threats. If you detect a flaw in this, submit it online to OnePlus official website, One Plus community forums, or One Plus Applications.
In collaboration with the security platform HackerOne, there is another bug bounty programme. Researchers from HackerOne will test the OnePlus products for potential security threats. To start with, few researchers will be selected and they will investigate for bugs. Later, in 2020, this program will be open for the public.
