The CBSE has confirmed that Class 10 students who opted for Basic Mathematics can take Standard Mathematics in Class 11 if they demonstrate adequate interest and ability. This policy, initiated due to COVID-19 disruptions, continues for the 2025-26 academic year, offering flexibility for students pursuing higher-level math.
